Alpha Card Grading is Australia's technology leader in card grading - a premium grading company based in Sydney, grading Pokémon, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Magic: The Gathering and every other standard-sized trading card game.

We build our grading technology in-house. Every ACG card is captured in forensic macro at over 1500 dpi, identified by our own AI, and measured for centering at sub-pixel resolution to two decimal places - then graded and independently reviewed by two graders. No other Australian grader works this way.

Every card is photographed and archived permanently in Australia's first and only public card grading database, tied to its certificate number.

Every model in our pipeline is custom trained to serve a unique purpose to both increase accuracy and streamline our process.

OUR PROCESS

Every Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball Super and standard-sized TCG card we grade runs through a special process developed entirely by ACG.

Every card is captured in forensic macro at over 1500+ dpi before our personally developed AI reads the card from it, identifies the set and variant in any language, and measures centering at sub-pixel resolution.

Surface, corners and edges are then graded under high magnification and advanced lighting techniques.

Once grading is complete the imagery is published to our database and a sequential certificate is minted - every ACG card is verifiable the moment it leaves us.

SUBMISSION GUIDE

  • 1. Order & Complete Submission Form

    After purchasing your order you'll be prompted to fill in the submission form.
    We've streamlined it to make it as simple as possible, Just add the cards you're grading and click submit!

    or from our menu.

  • 2. Prepare Cards

    Before sending your cards for grading, place each card in a penny sleeve, then insert them into Top Loaders or Semi-Rigid Card Protectors.
    Adding tabs to the sleeves is optional but recommended.

    Make sure your cards are packed securely before shipping.

    Quick Tip: If you’re unsure, there are plenty of tutorials from experienced collectors available on YouTube.

  • 3. Shipping

    Be sure to include your order number with your package found in the order confirmation email received after making your order (e.g. ACGXXXX)

    Once packaged, simply ship your cards to us, and we'll handle the rest.
    We recommend requesting a signature on delivery.
