OUR PROCESS
Every card we grade goes through a multi-stage evaluation process, utilizing advanced magnification and multiple sophisticated lighting techniques to ensure an accurate and fair grade.
We grade on the standard four metrics:
surface, corners, centering & edges.
Using the cumulative subgrade score and any variables such as surface quality
and overall aesthetic, we then determine the final card grade and proceed with
encapsulation.
Grading Scale
Our grading system works on a half grade scale.
If a card receives a 10 score in all four subgrades, it's awarded the rare ACG Gold Label.
All other cards receive our Signature Black Label.
10+ - Pristine DIAMOND LABEL
Represents a flawless card in every way, free of any marks, wear or blemishes with perfect centering.
10 - Gem Mint
Awarded for an almost perfect card.
A black label 10 is perfect in every way but will have one small defect such as whitening under slight magnification, raised or squared corners or slightly off centering.
But overall still a fantastic quality card.
9.5 - Mint+
Fantastic quality in all aspects, however may include one or two very minor blemishes.
Overall aesthetically pleasing in quality.

Centering Scale
Our AI calculates the lower grade on the side of the card, then averages the 2 scores to determine the final centering grade.
If a grade is directly between 2 half grades i.e. 9.75, the grade will roll down to the lowest increment.
For example:
Front Grade
Left / Right - 45/55 = 9
Top / Bottom - 51/49 = 10
Actual Front Grade = 9.5
Back Grade
Left / Right - 43/57 = 10
Top / Bottom - 50/50 = 10
Actual Back Grade = 10
Final Centering Grade = 9.5
